Adithya is a member of investment team at Anicut Capital and is responsible for end-to-end deal cycle. With over a decade of experience spanning across venture investing and consulting, Adithya has invested across sectors such as technology, financial services, and healthcare and served as a board member in leading healthcare and semiconductor companies. He is a Chartered Accountant and holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Madras
Ajay is one of the Partners of Anicut Capital. At Anicut, he heads the Seed Fund initiative, where he oversees deal sourcing and diligence, and heads the deal structuring, investor connect and post investment mentoring and monitoring processes. In his previous role, he was managing 200+ early-stage investments. Ajay is passionate about the early-stage ecosystem and enjoys collaborating with founders to help them scale. He brings strategic inputs to the table and helps founders with business, strategic and fundraising connects. Ajay is a B.COM (Hons.) graduate and holds a Law degree.
Ankita is a member of credit risk team where she assists on deal evaluation, industry insights, diligence and documentation in pre-investment stage. A fresher with exposure to consumer, auto and financial services sectors during her student life. Ankita completed her education from National Institute of Technology and Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli.
Arun brings 15+ years of experience across investment banking, management consulting and corporate development. Prior to Anicut, Arun was Head of Corporate Development at Sulekha. Before that, he spent 7 years in IB in India and London with global firms including DC Advisory, Arma Partners and BoFA Merrill Lynch. Arun started his career with Deloitte Consulting in New York as a management consultant. He holds a BE in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from University of Madras, an MS in Industrial & Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) and an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business.
Arushi is a member of the investment team at Anicut Capital's growth equity fund. After pursuing MBA from IIM Indore, she worked as a management consultant in the energy & utilities sector before advancing to a fund where she primarily assessed early-stage technology startups in fintech and SaaS space. Her career began as a technology analyst at Deloitte USI. Arushi holds a bachelor's degree from NIT Jaipur.

Ashvin is managing partner and member of Anicut Investment Committee. Ashvin is a career finance professional with two decades of experience across investment banking, private equity / angel investments and private credit. He has served on the Boards of several public and private companies. Ashvin completed his education from Wesleyan University and The London School of Economics.
Balaji is a member of credit risk and monitoring team where he focuses on post-investment monitoring of fund investments on business milestones, corporate, secretarial compliance and supporting investee companies with timely business insights. He is a finance professional with 5+ years of experience in SME ratings, corporate finance and due-diligence. Balaji is a member of The Institute of Chartered Accounts of India.
Dhruv is a partner in the investment team. Prior to joining Anicut, Dhruv was a partner at Sistema Asia Capital, a $120M early growth VC where he led investments in Licious, LendingKart, Kissht, amongst others. Prior to Sistema, Dhruv was at Helion Ventures, $600M VC where he was involved in >15 investments. Dhruv started his career with ABN Amro Bank in operations and worked with McKinsey & Co. Dhruv is an undergrad from Delhi University and has completed MBA from Symbiosis International University.
Dhruv is responsible for origination, shortlisting, due diligence and capital raise of new deal flow at Anicut Angel Fund. His prior experience has been in spearheading the evaluation of fresh investments in Angel network space. Dhruv is an engineer from SMVD University and has done his masters in Finance from Infinity business School.
Harsh is responsible for post-investment mentoring and monitoring, due diligence and capital raise of Anicut Angel Fund portfolio. He spent over 3 years as a consultant at KPMG’s Deal Advisory Practice focusing on strategy, research and benchmarking for clients in the US and Lower Gulf. Prior to KPMG, he has worked as an engineer with Sahara Force India Formula One Team, UK. Harsh completed his B.Eng. from the University of Leicester, UK and M.Sc. Engineering and Finance from University College London, UK.
Bala is managing partner and member of Anicut Investment Committee. Career banker with 27 years of experience in commercial banking, private wealth management and private credit. He has also served in credit committees and board of several companies. Bala completed his education in Engineering and MBA from Madurai Kamaraj University.
Jay heads underwriting and monitoring for the fund since inception, where he is responsible for constructing and managing the portfolio to suit fund’s investment objectives and investee companies’ aspirations. Jay has 18 years of experience in commercial banking, equity / debt fund raising and private credit. Jay completed his education in Engineering from Anna University and MBA from Indian Institute of Management- Indore.
Karunamoorthi is a part of the credit team at Anicut He is currently driving the business expansion strategies and assisting in the credit risk and performance evaluation. He is a highly regarded risk management professional in NBFC space with 16+ years of experience in companies like Northern Arc Capital, Bharath Financial inclusion, Vedanta Group and MRF Tyres. He has led the credit risk and monitoring teams across various sectors like Vehicle finance, Microfinance and Gold finance. He has a PG degree in Management from PSG Institute of management and a bachelor's degree from Bharathidasan University.
Kunal manages Investor Relations since the inception of the Fund, where he focusses on fund raising, managing investor relationships and engaging with the stake holders of the investors. Kunal has 15+ years of experience in investment advisory and managing wealth of High Net-Worth individuals. Kunal has a bachelor’s degree in corporate secretaryship from the University of Madras and MSc in Finance & Investments from Lancashire Business School, UK.
Venkatesh is responsible for governance and fund operations since the inception of the Fund, where he focusses on setting up new funds, onboarding fund alliances, fund accounting, audit and statutory compliance. Veteran with over 23 years of experience in handling investment operations, debt syndication and audit compliance. Venkatesh has a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Law, a Certified Financial Planner, Associate of Insurance Institute of India and a CFA Level 2 candidate.
Pranav is responsible for deal sourcing, shortlisting, and due diligence as part of Anicut's seed fund. Prior to Anicut, he spent a year at Ernst and Young in the consulting division, working with international insurance companies. Pranav graduated from Ashoka University, majoring in Economics and Finance and will be attending the MBA program at ISB in 2024.
Shruti has joined our team as Principal Officer- IFSC. She has a professional experience of 14 years. Over these years, Shruti has worked as a Financial Journalist, Risk Analyst and as a Research Manager. Shruti has completed her Masters in Economics from Mumbai University.
Supreetha Muralidharan is responsible for handling investor relations at Anicut Capital. She is responsible for investor onboarding, communication, and all investor-related operational activities. Previously, she was working at Metis Family Office Services Pvt Ltd, a boutique multifamily office, for a period of 8+ years as executive assistant to the Co-founders in addition to independently handling administrative, accounting and finance functions. She is a graduate in Commerce and a postgraduate in Systems from University of Madras.
Veenu has 19 years of extensive experience in leadership positions in corporate finance, business strategy, revenue planning, cost optimisation, and corporate governance across diverse industries including telecom , passive infrastructure, retail, food and hospitality, education and realty. She holds FCMA, CGMA from CIMA UK and MBA from International Management Institute, New Delhi. Her last stint has been with Bharti Airtel as CFO for Broadband Business.
