Incorporated in 2020, Anicut's Seed Fund is a unique proposition which provides the best of two worlds - an Angel network and a Venture Capital fund. Our fund is sector agnostic, focusing on leading rounds from seed stage to pre series A stage (round sizes of upto $1mil) and co-investing in larger opportunities. Anicut's seed fund is one of the few funds in the country with an angel fund structure, in which the team members have their skin in the game. The team takes up 10-15% of the round before the deal is passed through to our investor network.
We work on a high-touch model throughout the investment journey, especially in the post-investment mentoring and monitoring aspects. We would love to be the sounding board for our founders and provide them with business and capital connects in the ecosystem.
Make sure you have the following: Pain points, Market Size, Solution, Team, Business Model, Traction, Competition, and Raise Details.
Reach out to through the pitch to us option below or email us at reachus@anicutcapital.com. If the opportunity interests the team, we will schedule a call/meeting with the founders. This is followed by Due Diligence, following which we request the founders to present to the Investment Committee, the entire Anicut team for the final go ahead, and then we'll start with the capital raise process.
We're happy to evaluate tech companies right from the MVP stage. However, for deep tech/AI companies, pre-MVP plays are open to evaluation.
For consumer companies, we don't evaluate startups at an idea stage. If you're seeing reasonable revenue and traction, reach out to us!
We are sector agnostic (barring real estate). Since the inception of the seed fund, we have invested in more than 10 different sectors.
